How Exciting!!?? On March 16, I had the opportunity to speak to the RHOERS of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. These girls were middle school to high school aged and all had beautiful natural hair.
I was able to talk to them about my journey with natural hair and how it changed my perspective about how I feel about my hair. This was such an awesome experience.
Back in 2017, God told me to go back to recording videos on my YouTube channel. From there, I began to do a segment called "Hair Talk Tuesdays" that I either did live or pre-recorded. It grew into something bigger than me. I never thought that one day, based on my videos, I would be invited to speak to young girls about embracing their natural hair. WOW!!
God is so good! I am so glad that he gave me the opportunity to do something so awesome as this event. Now he has given me the idea to start online training and workshops for moms, college students, etc. Check my website for dates and upcoming events.
